Play of the Light

Jason McIntosh ([twitter.com profile] JmacDotOrg) interviewed my household about the way we play videogames: "Play of the Light #11 - The Freaks on group-playing single-player RPGs." This is vaguely connected to accessibility, just because we touch, somewhat, on how we play in a way that doesn't use my hands, although that's not the focus.

Oh, hey, speaking of which, while I know you're otherwise occupied this weekend, figured I'd point out this Arisia panel on gaming with disabilities that's coming up at the con. Definitely something I'd like to see more of.

I didn't make it to that panel, alas -- the drawback to being at the Assistant Div Head level means less time for the actual con, more for working. But the feedback so far has been great!

I really like what I've heard about the Hunt (from A and from one of the Kingdom of Loathing devs, who talked about it on their video games podcast). The theme sounded awesome, and the Settlers of Catan IF puzzle sounds like one I'll really want to try if it gets released (ditto the 7 Wonders one).
