Name:deborah
I'm a software engineer at a publishing company and the Accessibility Team co-lead here at Dreamwidth. Until very recently I was the instructor for Fantasy and Science Fiction in the Center for the Study of Children's Literature at Simmons College. In other words, I'm a little busy.

My background is in computers, accessibility, libraries and archives, and children's literature. Those aren't all connected, sadly. My main topics of conversation in this blog are the intersection of libraries and new technology, accessibility, coding, children's and young adult literature, science fiction and fantasy, romance novels, reviewing, reference, open access, and digitization. I also talk about my academic work in children's literature, romance, and fan studies, or alternately in computer science.

Or I might just point out shiny things.
