on the bright side, my experience with other volunteer-run, not-for-profit organizations tells me that the odds are the OTW will survive this. Some friendships probably won't, but the organization will.
(I have seen not-for-profit fail at moments like this, but usually those are ones with the people with the passion are actually not all that bright. Everyone I've met in the OTW has been SMART, and I think that will make a big difference.)
