Doh! That's what I get for trusting dictation software. I was so pleased that it got the "h" right that I didn't check the rest of the spelling.

Thank you for correcting me on that. I never know what didactic; I don't use it as a putdown but I have to get out of the habit of using it because everybody THINKS I mean it as a putdown.

Also, you clarify that I need to get the book as soon as it's out. :-) I wanted it to be out for me teaching last fall, but at least I will have it for this fall.

I need to think more about books succeeding as science fiction by losing their grip on young adult issues. My definitions above young adult issues pretty much all come down to character arc.
