I vowed never to read news comments (in my local San Francisco bay area papers) because i certainly don't have enough Sanity Watcher points. No matter the topic, someone blames someone else (Bush, liberals, gummint, gays, Christians, a conspiracy) in an unthinking and angry way, with no evidence of compassion.
