I'm with you completely on that. That being said, I'm the person managing the software platform, and people want the software platform to have all the bells and whistles as well. It seems pedantic to hold out the constant reminder of the truly philosophical difference, well I emphasize that while a software might of these extra things, it then ceases to be a mere digital library, but I think it's important.

Lagoze's won the prize for the conference, and I read the paper in the proceedings, and I stand by my issues with the paper.
